Use URLmin's simple API for minimizing your links URLs with an easy HTTP call

Call:

http://urlmin.com/api?url=[URL] (&name=[NAME]) (&format=[FORMAT])

Parameters:

URL: The URL you want to minimize (URL encoded better)

NAME: The name you'd like for the minimized URL

FORMAT: Response format, it can be link (default), html, bbcode, markdown or textile

Example:

http://urlmin.com/api?url=http://maps.google.com/ ?ie=UTF8&hl= es&f=q&om=1&ll =33.437484, -111.99858&spn= 0.001068,0.002234&t=k&z=19

We don't guarantee that URLmin API is free of bugs. URLmin may end the API at any moment. We serve the API as it is. We don't allow more than one request per second.
